Monthly Performance Report

·         Ridership

 

Average weekday fixed-route boardings for the month of August 2021 were 105,982, up by or 44% from the previous year.  Average weekday fixed-route boardings were up as compared to the previous month of July, increasing by 4,835.

 

·         On-Time Performance

 

System-wide on-time performance measured at 72% for the month of August 2021.  There were 34 routes that exceeded the on-time performance standard set at 80% and four (4) routes performed under 50%, our on-time standard.  Routes 1, 2, and 3 were running on a headway system for two thirds of the month and had on-time performance measured at 61%.

 

·         Farebox Recovery

 

Farebox recovery for the two (2) months of the year reported at 13%.

 

·         Maintenance

 

Miles between mechanical road calls remained high at 12,720 miles for August and bus availability was 90%.

 

·         Service Delivery

 

The social distancing pass ups for the month of August averaged 13.3 incidents per weekday, an increase from the average of 8.7 in the previous month.

 

·         Safety and Security

 

The trend in miles between major collisions reported at 348,536 miles with four (4) major accidents in the month of August.  There were an increase in the number of reported injuries from passenger slips and falls and the 12-month rolling average rate for industrial accidents is down.

 

·         Human Resources

 

The trend in Operator unscheduled absences is slowly turning with Operator attendance at 77% for August.  There were no Operator days off cancelled for the first two months of the year.

 

·         Call Centers

 

The call center staff continued to answer 99% of calls within 5 minutes this year.
